This was a fantastic presentation Prof Sarah Baker! Really enjoyed the thought provoking discussion of how dental research needs to embrace interdisciplinarity and systems thinking approaches

#WorldMentalHealthDay2022 We know from our research that dental practitioners experience a high burden of burnout & mental illness. It important that we reach out for help if we are experiencing struggles. Listen to our podcast with Black Dog Institute experts podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/den…

Too many people wait until they're exhausted or depressed to make change or seek help. Mental health isn't something to put on the back burner. We can't keep good habits in storage until we need them. Mental hygiene should be as ingrained in our daily routine as dental hygiene.

Gratitude post! I've had a tough year with burnout and mental health issues...but I'm super lucky to have a supportive partner, family and friends who continue to check-in, show they care, and brighten my day. πŸ˜ŠπŸ’›β€οΈ
