Excited and honored to be presenting my research at Pediatric Trauma Soc in New Orleans this fall! Thanks to the surgery department and research team Children's Mercy Pediatric Surgery for the support.
The study established SIPA cut points for infants under 1, showing high NPV and specificity. Elevated SIPA scores were strongly linked to ICU admission, mechanical ventilation, severe anemia, transfusion, and mortality.
