SO deserved. Janet is a powerhouse campaigner for all kinship carers, a children’s social care expert, peer support champion, and a massive force for good. It’s such a privilege to be working with her to transform kinship care support and recognition. Congratulations!

This is why kinship carers (typically women) need and deserve a statutory right to paid leave when they step up to raise someone else’s child.
