The functional applications of Dr Laura Sanchez s lab remain some of the most creative applications I have seen in #MSI. From bacterial colony imaging to immune cell assays, they will find the #metabolites involved. Great talk!🥳
Next, Stanford's own Benedikt Geier from the Amieva Lab showed us awesome work looking at metabolomics in an organoid infection model of H. pylori. It was cool to see the results of (many) hours spent on the MALDI, which happens to be right behind my desk!
