It takes HCWs with HIV THREE TIMES LONGER to achieve occupational health clearance than their counterparts with HBV and that can risk job offer withdrawal. This is not logical, it;s not evidence-based and it needs to change please FOM #BHIVA24

Hi UNAIDS Global - might I suggest, in line with your own excellent terminology guidance, you amend your 2024 fact sheet from "newly infected" to "newly diagnosed"? Replace "become infected" with "been diagnosed"? Please. Or 1.3 million new infections? Language matters. Thank you 🙂
