Looking forward to talking to Dr Marianne Trent Clinical Psychologist and her group of aspiring psychologists tonight about all things neuro. So to colleagues, what do you love about working in neuro? What surprises you? Or what do you wish someone had told you when starting out your career?

There’s certainly been a lot of plate spinning going on the last fortnight thanks to poorly kids and I’ve definitely chosen to drop some (looking at you, laundry pile!). But at the end of the week I’m still smiling and thanks to amazing colleagues and patients.

Finally took the plunge and got some admin support… I highly recommend them. They’re cheap (paid in snacks), enthusiastic and keep telling me ‘I’m the best ever’.

An fantastic final week at University of Glasgow topped off with Gordon Dutton talking passionately about the importance of identifying cortical visual impairments, and Ingram Wright ingram wright 💙💛 sharing his wealth of knowledge on executive functioning in children. Now to get revising!

A great day with future clinical psychologists at Coventry DClinPsy today. Some great discussion and reflections as we practiced formulating a case of traumatic brain injury. Hopefully we met a few future neuropsychologists today! #DClinPsy
