Dear senior colleagues: Just because you survived on popcorn with ketchup throughout grad school doesn't mean it is ok for current grad students to do so. #AcademicTwitter #AcademicChatter

Is there a German word that means "simultaneously angry and disgusted?" Looking at the thread, you can tell he has made inappropriate comments to numerous women.

Today is two weeks post my second Moderna shot, which means I am fully vaccinated!!! I celebrated by getting a haircut for the first time since the pandemic, and buying a house plant. #GetVaccinated How it started vs How it's going

Say it with me now: Asian American is a POLITICAL identity, not an inherently cultural one. Asian American is a choice to find and fight for shared political goals across disparate experiences and ethnic identities.

I'm learning how to use specifications grading for undergrad and grad psychology courses. Would like to start this fall semester. If you'd done this, what are your experiences, reflections, pieces of advice? Thanks! @ReadTheSyllabus The PhD Story Academic Chatter™ #AcademicTwitter

A White woman can own 8 pairs of almost identical Black leather pumps and claim each pair is unique. But she goes to work the next day and can’t tell apart Michelle Tran from HR, Angela Kim from accounting, and Julie Wong from marketing. #AsianAmericans

Upset about grocery stores lifting mask mandates? Shop at an Asian one. Just came back from H-Mart and 99.9% of peeps wearing masks. Anyone who wasn't, got the shit side-eyed out of them by everyone

Thinking back to that time in grad school when my advisor was reviewing my paper, highlighted a section of a paragraph, and commented, "This is very well-written." She had forgotten that it was she who wrote that section in a previous draft. I decided to not point that out.

I put catnip next to my cat's food bowl. She looked at the catnip, then the bowl, then back at the catnip, then the bowl, ... and ended up just drinking water. #MyCatIsDumb

I have been a thin person my entire life. I am grateful to have discovered Maintenance Phase, a podcast that makes me confront my implicit anti-fat bias, something I don't like to acknowledge because it challenges my self-image as a "woke" person.
