A slimy time at the Lansdale Library!!!!!!

What do you want to do on your day off? Kid1: I want to learn how to play a violin! Kid 2: I want to learn Spanish! That isn’t quite what I meant but…. 🤷🏼‍♀️ The Lansdale Library to the rescue.

Field trip in our own hallways! We searched for Braille so we would be better able to understand our text about a boy and his guide dog!

We felt the cool breeze, the warm sun, and really enjoyed the day. We took a 15 minute read break in our outdoor classroom today. It was delightful. And I’ve never seen kids more excited to read!

Anything but a cup day…. AND parent visitation day. My water was in a hollowed out baseball bat! Stay tuned for tomorrow’s underground spirit day!

Pajama day at school!

Kids loved the Mrs. Claus gnome tree we made!!!! We are front and center as you walk in! For a non-crafty person… I’m feeling pretty proud!

Thank you to the Academy of Natural Sciences for their sensory mornings. My kids had a wonderful time in an environment better suited to their needs!

I love leaving cute notes and presents for my students on testing days! I got this one back! Can’t beat this note.

What does “67” mean? Nothing It’s just silly. Little kids being silly. As a teacher, if you aren’t using this to your advantage to create connection…. Then you’ve missed the boat. Stop getting angry at little kids being silly and use it to laugh, smile, and have fun.

Thank you John Patrick Green for making my kids’ day…. Week…. Month… YEAR!!!! Getting their books signed was their biggest goal today. We loved meeting you and watching you draw!
