Every American has the right to peacefully protest. What’s happening right now at the U.S. Capitol building is wrong and un-American.  We are better than that.

Having covered many protests over the years, I do wonder if the majority of these folks were black and brown whether they’d be treated the same way they’re being treated right now.

Those who made this attack on our government need to be identified and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Their actions are repugnant to democracy.
