The message needs to go out across frontline NHS staff that suicidal patients who have mental capacity are *not* outside the scope of MH care or, if needed, the MH Act. This applies to patients presenting with self-harm, personality disorder, anorexia nervosa & many more.

Our mother and baby unit Ribblemere MBU in Chorley has been re-accredited by Royal College of Psychiatrists Perinatal Quality Network for the outstanding gold standard care they provide to mums, babies and the wider family. Feedback from a patient said staff support helped them get better more quickly 💙

Despite the traffic, 'Making research everyone's business' - The Research Conference, got off to a flying start this morning! Our Chief Medical Officer Gareth Thomas opened the Conference and spoke about the work of the LSCFT Research Team team and our ambitions for the future.
