Before illicit fentanyl took over, buprenorphine doses rarely exceeded 16 to 24mg. Higher buprenorphine doses are showing promise due to fentanyl’s intense strength: Tx retention boosted at 32mg, 40mg.

Our new *short report* was just published & shows that a monoclonal antibody previously shown to attenuate the effects of fentanyl had cross-reactivity for carfentanil in 2 NHPs. This was especially interesting because the mAb had little relative affinity for carfent in vitro.
