Had a fab day today with NI Science Festival and Public Engagement MHLS gene editing bacteria with the public, and teaching them about the complicated ethics of current & future treatments. Such great enthusiasm, questions, and fun! 🧬

Had a wonderful NI Science Festival Schools session with Friends' School and Wellington College Belfast at School of Biological Sciences yesterday at our 'Breaking the Bacteriophage' event. Lots of budding molecular biologists who made some excellent quality gels! Even the teachers got their gloves dirty 🧬🧑‍🔬
