Democrats WANT to shut down government. To protect free illegal immigrant healthcare, to show up late and still get paid, and to protect men playing in women's sports. Republicans wanted reasonable legislation and to work across the aisle... but unfortunately Democrats are

The Minnesota House DFL started session by BOYCOTTING while demanding Minnesotan's still pay them, now they yell and scream demanding Minnesotan's pay for illegals healthcare.

Mandates.. mandates.. mandates.. The Minnesota House DFL absolutely loves them. They have been working tirelessly to keep them in place which punish Counties, school districts and eventually YOU. When property tax rise you can look to blame DEMOCRATS for this.

In the 11th hour of negotiations the Minnesota House DFL just happened to find money to fund UI (unemployment insurance) which is something that shouldn't be a MANDATE in the first place but I digress.. I wonder where else they have money hiding?

I was happy to see my cottage food reform bill was introduced and passed in the Ag bill. Although I'm disappointed it won't become law until Aug of 27, this is a step in the right direction.

Many people have asked about my vote on the pension bill and why I didn't vote for it. There were good provisions in the bill that improved teacher pensions however it also striped healthcare benefits from duty-disabled public safety workers.

The Minnesota DFL Party would rather fund healthcare for illegals, increase Minnesota Department of Education budget, cut special education in schools, grow the Metropolitan Council and raise your property taxes!! If this is their way of compromise... I say "SHUT IT DOWN"!!

I was informed by leadership on Friday that part of their negotiations (which the the majority of the caucus has been left in the dark about) will be to suspend the rules which will result in you, the people not being able to throughly review the bills prior to them being voted
