How dredging works. Simples. The Rivers around the Somerset levels have been altered by man so need maintaining by man. They need the silt (brought by the tide) to be removed. Dredging or de-silting speeds river flow and increases capacity.

Getting one off the farms drainage pumps after the water has risen 3 foot over night 🤦‍♂️trigger points for the extra pumps have met at the beginning of the week but still no pumps!! Come on EA it didn’t need to get this bad !!!!!
