We have a local authority-run scheme where if you agree to care for a disabled person, you can get up to £800 per week. Meanwhile unpaid carers get Carers Allowance of about £80 per week. It's scandalous... Not the £800 per week, but that Carers Allowance is so low.

Perhaps some lessons on how frustrating travel can be for disabled people and some training re diffusing situations rather than escalating them
