Are you a #gamedev using #UE4's asynchronous saving in *combination* with level streaming? Let me save you from the headache I experienced last week trying to figure out why a portion of the new Follow @AfterburnerDevs players have been losing some of their save progress. (1/X)

If you're a #gamedev, you might find this thread on debugging a critical race condition interesting. If you're a gamer, the TLDR is: Save issue fix was pushed to Steam on Saturday and has already been submitted for Xbox / Game Pass. We're still hoping for a mid-week approval. 🤞

Dreamscaper Update 1.1.1.6 has been released on Xbox and PC. It has a fix for the autosave issue that was causing some players to lose their progress. Please not that this unfortunately does not retroactively salvage lost save data but should prevent it going forward.
