I think this thread summed up a lot of the feelings I have been having. It’s been very perturbing to see some folks on here calling others “plague rats” and say that they hope that they get long COVID and see how they like it. Like how is that not just repackaged ableism?

you guys realize it's possible to have conversations with people and form ongoing mutually interdependent relationships to them online right. like. posting is not the only option.

yeah those are both equally ineffectual, self-centered ways to go about forming community, no wonder neither seems to be working. I recommend asking people about their thoughts and feelings. and listening and then responding with more interest and questions. to start.
