Very productive Special Constabulary Management Board meeting at South Wales Police HQ this evening 👮‍♂️ Lots of progress being made across a jam-packed agenda to support our #volunteer police officers in keeping our communities safe 🚓 Fired up for the journey ahead 🔥

Our Special Sergeants provide much valued frontline #leadership to our #volunteer police officers 👮 It was great to catch up with them at HQ tonight for a very insightful discussion on the challenges of their role & to update them on what South Wales Police is doing to support them 🤝

A bittersweet moment last night as we gave thanks & paid tribute to Special Superintendent Jason Coleman, who retires after 7 years volunteer service 👏 Jason’s contribution to keeping South Wales safe is huge & we’re incredibly grateful for his time, commitment & dedication 🙏

Delighted to attend a ‘Celebration of Volunteering’ event in #Cardiff today as part of StJohn International Grand Council’s visitation to Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 It was an honour to speak with His Royal Highness The Duke of Gloucester about the Special Constabulary and volunteering within South Wales Police 👮‍♂️
