Keynote three on the University of Lancashire ITE conference is the brilliant Meghan Moore and her session on trauma informed teaching. She’s created a safe space for us to explore and develop our practice in this vital area.

And to top off our University of Lancashire ITE conference Amanda Gorrell led us through the brave new world of generative AI and how we’ll embrace and embed it into teacher education to give our trainees the skills they need for great futures in FE & Skills

Great day teaching our Masters Education students today - plus being on campus I got to see students arriving ready for @uclan Welcome Week. Suitcases, boxes and bags of all shapes and sizes, and a few teary Mums (and Dads) & lots of excited students with the world at their feet

Privileged to attend the lecture today @uclan by 8th UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon. The planet is boiling and we must all commit to global citizenship and raise our voices to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals - number being climate change.

There are some excellent door wreaths on @uclan campus but this was one in JB Frith building takes some beating

And that’s a wrap - teaching of my yearlong professional development module with our @UCLan MEd students finished today. Their engagement with critical reflexivity and their courage in the process has been a gift. We closed our time together with this poem. My gift to them.
