thisdaylive.com/index.php/2024… 13 years later, the man behind the murder of NYSC members in Bauchi after the 2011 elections has been arrested. They were my contemporaries for the NYSC, though I was in another state. Around that same time, some NYSC members were kidnapped in the SS.

I sent this simple poem on the 13th of June, 2011, to newspaper editors for publication on 16th June, 2011, the day we passed out of the NYSC. Some of our colleagues had died in Bauchi after the elections, and some were kidnapped down South. It wasn't published, but we remember.
