James Dyson is a British engineering icon - and we need a thousand more like him. Entrepreneurs, job-creators, small businesses. Only Conservatives will bring back the dynamic business environment we need to make Britain rich again.

CCHQ says stamp duty abolition covers all primary residences - not additional properties, company purchases or non-UK residents. Priced at ÂŁ9bn with no dynamic effects (though we, they and IFS expect there will be).

Waiting for the train back to London. That was the best party conference leader’s speech since David Cameron’s time. Kemi Badenoch reset Conservative principles and energised the audience with some headline making new policies. Brilliant announcement on stamp duty.

Unemployment up to 4.8% - driven by rising youth joblessness. Labour crashed confidence when they came in with no plan - and now Keir Starmer lacks the backbone to make the tough choices to fix it. More tax rises loom. More damage to come. Labour’s failure is not an accident -

More than 58,000 men were diagnosed with prostate cancer in England alone in 2024. I spoke to @PCR_news about their latest report on screening. The UK NSC is currently conducting a review of prostate cancer screening and is due to report its findings later this year.

Roughly 1 in 6 people worldwide experience infertility. I met with the Fertility Alliance and British Fertility Society event in Parliament to discuss the importance of equal access to fertility treatment on a local and national level.

Every time the numbers don’t add up, Rachel Reeves blames someone else. The Chancellor should start owning up to her own mistakes and accept responsibility for the poor decisions she has made.
