"The strongest teams have the most members." This quote from Hidden Potential by Adam Grant hit me. Success isn’t about having the smartest people—it’s about collective intelligence. 💡 When we collaborate, listen, and value diverse perspectives, amazing things happen.

"Progress depends less on how hard you work and more on how well you learn." A perfect quote from the book: Hidden Potential: The Science of Achieving Greater Things by Adam Grant.

As the BCRS President, doing a locum has been an amazing experience. Connecting with radiologists across BC and learning from different groups has deepened my perspective on our profession. Grateful for this opportunity to grow and collaborate.

I wanted to share this graphic I came across. Being kind isn't always the easiest path, but it's the right one. This graphic breaks down the difference between being kind and simply being nice—and why kindness builds true connection, integrity, and trust.

Movement is truly medicine. Start small. Go for a walk today, even just 10 minutes. It doesn’t have to be a run—any movement counts.

I am currently training for a 21K. I am not able to create more time in my day, instead I’m making the most of the time I have. Training doesn’t mean squeezing in extra hours, it means breaking it down into manageable runs. Short, consistent efforts add up.

It was an honour to attend the Doctors of BC Quarterly Representative Assembly meeting. It was a great opportunity for physicians from all backgrounds come together to represent our profession. Grateful to be part of this influential body shaping the future of medicine in BC.

I attended an amazing presentation by Dr. Hugue Ouellette at #WhistlerMSK. Dual energy CT image showing entrapped tendon. Very cool.

Early morning run in the rain here in Victoria, ahead of today’s meeting with the Honourable Minister of Health, Josie Osborne, on behalf of the BCRS. Grateful for the opportunity to advocate for the future of radiology in BC.

Just got back from an incredible time at CAR. Nothing beats connecting in person with other radiologists, academics, and leaders. So many great conversations and creative ideas — I’m heading home feeling inspired and re-energized.

It was an honour to represent radiologists at the provincial level. I grew up in a small town where few women pursued higher education, let alone careers in medicine with 2 Harvard fellowships. The experience reminded me of how far we've come.

I haven’t been online in a while—stretched thin with life and work. This morning’s early workout reminded me how powerful even a little movement can be. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, start small. A short walk. A few stretches. Just move. Your mind and body will thank you.

Another successful BCRS Spring General Meeting. As BCRS President, my goal was to bring radiologists back together, face-to-face, in community. I’m incredibly proud of the strength of our radiology community here in BC, and how powerful our voice becomes when we stand together.

Access to timely medical imaging is critical and I’m grateful for the opportunity to share our reality with the elected officials who help drive change in our province. Imaging Wait Times Impact Lifetimes.

Back to 5:00am bootcamp today and wow, it felt amazing. Life has been nonstop lately, but today was a non-negotiable. I put myself on the calendar… and I’m better for it.
