Hey, Iowa Senate GOP - the Iowa House GOP has created and passed pathways to a vastly improved AEA bill, increases in salaries for teachers and important support personnel, AND 3% SSA. Just sayin’… maybe they’re on to something! You could do the same as soon as Monday, I think…

This week I learned the words anomie & sonder - and it struck me: I fear there is such a lack of shared values (anomie) emerging in the US that people on the right & left have painted each other as straw “men” who narrowly & simply define one another rather than consider sonder.

House of the Dragon Season 2 was a cross between The Empire Strikes Back and the Cold War. It felt like all filler between the first one and (hopefully) the third one and they spent hours talking about going to war and never did… 🥱
