Accurate data is so badly needed to ensure adequate service provision for people with acquired brain injuries AND their families and carers.

In March I asked the Minister a very simple question: How many people were treated for an acquired brain injury last year? Today he confirmed the data collection on ABI is so inadequate, the Government do not know.

Just finished watching the documentary about Derek Draper & Kate Garraway - very moving, particularly touched by the beautiful relationship between Derek & his carer Jake. He was there all the way, including carrying the coffin. Jake - you should be immensely proud of yourself.
