We have notified Keele University 🐿️ of strike days over graduation next week. We expected to hear a new offer from the university to reduce the punishing 50% indefinite MAB deductions this week. The university is fast running out of time to stop the strikes. #settlethedispute

ON STRIKE! Keele members at graduation today celebrating students while letting the university know we will not accept their indefinite 50% MAB deductions. Keele University 🐿️ must stop inflicting this disproportionate financial hardship on staff, or face ongoing disruption.

It's Friday, it's five o clock and we smashed through our £10,000 donations threshold in TWO DAYS. Thirty-two pledgers still to donate. We still need that, because the action continues. But your MAB committee are all going off for a cry, a a glass of pop and a lie down.

We are strike today and all week! Today: picket at front gate from 7.30, solidarity as action teach out at 10.30 in SU, lunch from 12 in the KPA.

So great to speak to students today and play this fun % quiz game about the reasons why we are on strike. Respect to the student who guessed that SMT awarded themselves a 71% pay rise last year, wouldn’t put it past them 😂
