On #WorldCancerDay, my thoughts are w/ those impacted by cancer. We must recognize that cancer treatments are disproportionally provided on the basis of income, race, gender, age, etc. Cancer does not discriminate, & we must raise awareness & advocate for those in need of care.

My amazing student advisors surprised me with a going away party as we started today's meeting. I have been so blessed to have built positive relationships with students these past few years. Cabinet joined as the students shared stories about me. Very emotional day.
