Everyone else is firing. At SciChart we’re hiring. We added 1 sales staff and 1 JS dev in the last few weeks. Now looking for a #WPF Developer. Are you a C# WPF dev with previous experience of #SciChart? Dm me

Is #WPF dead? How popular is this framework compared to #WinUI , #MAUI in 2024? I’ll be publishing a blog post soon on the topic. However as a preview, checkout these download stats of Prism - a popular dependency injection library with versions for Wpf, Maui, Windows Ui and Uno

Unfortunately, internal politics have resulted in the current state of Windows GUIs, despite the fact that through my personal experience, WPF is an exceptional GUI toolkit.

Here's the promised post: is #WPF dead? Looking at the data, download stats & reasons why WPF remains a solid choice for LOB apps in 2024. Plus, what the alternatives are, how #MAUI #WinUI stack up, and something awesome from Avalonia UI team 👀

My point precisely that WPF is still a strong choice for internal enterprise or LOB apps particularly in engineering, science, finance. That’s quite a lot of app development. For customer facing apps you may consider JS or a mobile solution

Steve 🐟🇪🇺🇵🇸 Literally everything from inflation to interest rate rises were predictable by just looking at similar events in history - printing money - sovereign debt crisis - rates raise - print more to cover debt - doom loop It gets worse not better
