Just seen a tabloid article criticising the fact 1 in 4 GP appointments still aren't face to face. This week I submitted an eConsult and got a helpful response with a referral link 24 hours later. Having a f2f would've been a waste of both mine & GP's time 🤷‍♀️

This level of exponential growth in numbers of appointments is not sustainable. More and more appointments delivered by less GPs . Patients and GPs all deserve better. Speak to your MP.

Deeply saddened to hear of the death of Dr Emmanuel Nsutebu Emmanuel Nsutebu. A very decent man who did so much for #sepsis care NHS University Hospitals of Liverpool Group, in the UK and Internationally. Am proud to have played a small part in some of his QI work. He will be much missed. Deepest condolences to his family
