“To the level of a Day 1 Consultant” is a phrase that became so familiar during my training. Well…. Today is that day. Honoured and privileged to be joining the team at the Exeter Knee Reconstruction Unit. I think it is finally ok to call myself a ‘knee surgeon’ Exeter Knee Reconstruction Unit
We are wishing Amy Garner a big warm welcome to the team in Exeter. First day today! Very pleased you came to join us here as part of the Knee Team. Jonathan Phillips PEOC
Final day to apply for the BORS & Bone & Joint Research 2025 Travelling Fellowship application tinyurl.com/fellow2025
Oh my, this is is brilliant from Dr Robert Laurenson 🚨 Strike action has cost the govt £3bn 🚨 Full pay restoration would have only cost £1.3bn 🚨 Re 35% demand - a physician’s assistant is paid 35% more than a fully qualified doctor 🤬🤬🤬
Devon is 🥳 the NHS Nightingale Hospital Exeter today as we open our new one stop diagnostic unit. This is Steve & the super fast EOS scanner which can scan up to 50 patients day with 25% of the normal radiation dose. This will particularly benefit children who need regular x-rays❤️
Definition of a team - early start, challenging theatre cases, everyone chipped in, got the job done, then spent the last five minutes of the shift doing a team work out. Great team spirit NHS Nightingale Hospital Exeter what a fantastic place to work.
