A brilliant chance this weekend to see finds from 𝗔𝟰𝟭𝟳 excavations, including this lovely Roman Cupid figure. During conservation corrosion and soil was removed so the delicate features can be seen. Cotswold Archaeology #ArchaeologicalConservation #Roman
A big fan of this small, bronze bust found at Duston. Probably represents the Roman emperor Lucius Verus who ruled between 161 – 169 CE. Conserved and mounted for Northampton Museum #ThrowbackThursday
