The construction of the #satellite may seem pretty simple with only 14 main subsystems, but its manufacturing is a complicated process. Six #engineering teams work at #DragonflyAerospace to design, manufacture, and ensure the proper operation of each subsystem of the satellite.

#EOS_SAT-1 was launched into LEO onboard the SpaceX Falcon-9 during the Transporter-6 mission. The #satellite successfully separated from the rocket and yesterday, at about 17:00 UTC, we made first contact! A huge congratulations to the team for the successful launch of the sat!

#EOS_SAT-1 is in a healthy state and control has been stabilized! This means that the #satellite is stopped from rotating in stabled mode as reaction wheels, gyroscopes and fine sun sensors take control of EOSSAT-1 to sun or target track a position on the earth.
