A belated Happy New Year to you all! Our January Meeting is happening this weekend. An Annual screening of something suitably gruesome for Members and Guests. And who doesn't love Peter Cushing? And the first 2025 issue of Voices From the Vault will be arriving in February.

Good to see our Winter issue of VOICES from the VAULTS has reached the other side of the world safely to DS Member Gordon Stoker. Thank you for your article, Gordon, we loved it!

HUGE thanks to the wonderfully talented Dr Ann Featherstone for her amazing presentation on Hamilton Deane last night at our March Meeting. (Ann is pictured below left with DS Chair, Julia Kruk.) We especially loved the spectacular finish!

Looking forward to Antony Clayton's talk at our Spring Meeting, as he presents his latest book, MANSION OF GLOOM, and talks about Edgar Allan Poe's 'The Fall of the House of Usher'. Copies of the book will be available to buy after the meeting.

Our Summer Meeting is fast approaching ... and we're looking forward to a talk from our own SueG. SUE GEDGE, talking about the Gothic Genius of Mervyn Peake. Members may bring as many guests as they wish (£10 per person) - see our website for details. Can't wait Sue!

World Dracula Day - celebrated each year on on 26 May which is the date in 1897 that Bram Stoker's immortal Count first appeared in print.
