Listening to a New Age audiobook about how to awaken my third eye. Turns out I have to keep my pineal gland healthy by avoiding vaccines and looking directly into the sun for as long as possible.

The cover of George McCready Price's young-earth book Common-Sense Geology (1946)—one of his later ones—features some kind of dragon, or Victorian-era dinosaur.

I thought this 70s cover for The Third Eye by 'Lobsang Rampa' was based on Donald Pleasence. Turns out Rampa actually just looked like that. Photo of Pleasance by Allan Warren (CC BY-SA 3.0).

A 1902 print of Arthur Drummond's painting The Assumption of Queen Victoria (Wellcome Images). Look closely and you'll see that the dead queen is joined in heaven by Darwin, Huxley, and Richard Owen. Not sure any of them would have enjoyed this awkward situation.
