Sunrise on Glastonbury Tor this morning. It was stunning to watch the sun rise above that golden mist but these two pigeons stole the show for me.

Folklore records the 1100+ menhirs in the alignments at Menec in Carnac (Morbihan) as being soldiers from a pagan army chasing St -Cornely towards the sea who were miraculously turned to stone. Card by Lemire in Lorient c.1905.
