Very happy to help teach such a great bunch of students & enjoyed introducing Chris Harrod new material demonstrating potential of innovative technology to build habitat-scale views of #macrophyte distribution in lake ecosystems. Excited about future ground truthing surveys! 🪷

A fantastic day looking at #aquaticplants with expert Nick Stewart at #LoughNeagh in Northern Ireland. Masses of the invasive Nuttall's pondweed Elodea nutallii, concealing four duckweeds (Lemna spp.), rigid hornwort (Ceratophyllum demersum) and plenty of other aquatic goodies!

Many leaders forget that leading others should be revered more than anything else. When you are given the responsibility to lead, you are given an excellent opportunity to influence many people’s lives positively, a responsibility you should never take for granted.
