Team work! It is super vital to what we do in country health. Our little team has almost hit our distance goal, but smashed our fundraising goal, with over $3k raised! However there is still time to support the RFDS on the Oceans to Outback challenge! oceanstooutback.org.au/fundraisers/Te…

Week 2 of the Principles of Aerospace Medicine course with UTMB Aerospace Medicine. So far been a joy to learn from leaders in the field, including pilot health, future tech to challenges of spaceflight and becoming an interplanetary species. Can't wait for the final week in Houston!

Astronaut Scott Kelly once smuggled a full gorilla suit aboard the International Space Station. He didn't tell anyone about it. One day, without anyone knowing, he put it on.

Six years ago I was in Melbourne, learning about space medicine for the first time. Now I am here on the Australasian Society of Aerospace Medicine Humans in Space course as assisting faculty. Great to hear Robert Thirsk once again speak with such passion about his two voyages to orbit.

A big thank you to our international and Australian faculty for supporting our 2023 Humans in Space workshop in Hobart. A huge three day program of space life sciences content, highlighting current capabilities and issues in space flight, and future opportunities for Australia 🇦🇺

Goodbye appendix. Today marks my first day with antarctica.gov.au and the start of my preparation to overwinter at Davis Station for next season. Why the elective appendectomy? There is no evacuation possible or another doc on station to do it midwinter should I get appendicitis
