I came across these kinds of anomalies many times, but I am wondering what caused these anomalies?

Noise-free baseline of the EDX spectrum (Figure 2a) seems very unusual

Recently, I came across several cases of noise-free EDX background, such as 5gh.org.cn/WuGH/2025/0000… and 5gh.org.cn/WuGH/2025/0000… Are they normal?

I have no language about these abnormal peak shape. Does Dr. Yang Mu Yang, Ph.D. have any suggestion? I suspect it was resulted from plotting the line with "+" symbols. What is more, a line of nonsense text is also observed in this figure.

Are the noise patterns in the purple boxes too similar to each other?
