God is funny because I've started back doing the daily office admist a period of self-doubt and the Gospel this week is one day, Martha Martha Martha, why are you worrying? And, as I continue to worry, today's Gospel goes: ask, and you shall receive. Be brave.

I've started doing all my emails on the train and scheduling send. Very few things require immediate response.

Honestly I wish there were (active) female academic orders because I love living in community and being a researcher.

Had a great time at Bocas Lit Fest at the British Library last night, especially hearing Kevin Jared Hosein and Safiya Sinclair read from their work, two of my favourite recent works. And of course lovely to see Novel Niche 🫒.

I jealous of Bocas Madrid. Would love to hear Jason Allen Paissant read his poetry!!

I'm fascinated whenever I read financial discussions around inheritance because it's wild to me how many people's parents gift them things like house down-payments or money for renovations etc. Anyway if anyone wants to gift me anything shout.

So I dunno if anyone else has a thing where they have to clean before they go away but I just cleaned to go on an overnight for work and now I just want to skip that and stay in my spotlessly clean flat. 🤷🏾‍♀️
