The last paper of my dissertation just got published in Comparative Political Studies ! Jonathan Rodden & I compared urban-rural electoral divides over time across 15 countries, at the level of elections and individual parties. Check out our dataset and results here doi.org/10.1177/001041…
I’m thrilled to see this paper (with Thomas M. Meyer & Markus Wagner) finally published online Journal of Politics @[email protected]! We show that social group appeals serve as simple cues for voters, shaping their opinions on policies based on appeal valence and group affect.
