Congratulations to Cobi (Shell), who competed in the 2025 Trampoline & DMT League in Bath on Saturday. He placed 7th, securing a place at the national finals in Derby this September — an exceptional achievement in his very first national competition.

Last weekend, James (Third Form) took part in his first Autograss competition at Invicta Kent, finishing an impressive fourth place — an outstanding result, especially considering it was his first time behind the wheel of the car just the day before. Well done, James!

Work on our new Performing Arts Centre is progressing rapidly following the recent topping out ceremony. We are eagerly anticipating the opening of this exceptional new facility in the autumn, which will greatly enhance opportunities for creativity and performance at school.

A brilliant start to the season for our U15 Girls’ Cricket B team! Led with confidence by captain Nancy, the team showed outstanding teamwork and communication to secure a 17-run victory, taking 5 wickets along the way. Well played, everyone!

Our Archivist, Mr Vanderhoeven, has found this plan of Dover Priory. It is the clearest one we have seen, clearly showing the span of the original Priory into what is now Effingham Street and Saxon Street.

Reverend Claire delivered a thought-provoking sermon in Chapel this morning, encouraging the congregation to reflect on the second greatest commandment — to love one’s neighbour — and to consider how this call to compassion and community is expressed in their everyday lives.

This week in Forest School, Prep School pupils have been getting creative with nature-inspired printing. Using leaves, petals, and other treasures found on the garden floor, they’ve produced some truly beautiful artwork – a celebration of the outdoors brought to life on paper!

On the afternoon of Thursday 5th June, we’ll be holding the much-anticipated Colour Run. This annual event is a firm favourite among pupils and staff alike, offering a fun and energetic way to come together as a school community.

On Friday 6th June, our Prep School pupils will take part in their Sports Day at Farthingloe. Parents are warmly invited to join us for an afternoon of friendly competition, community spirit, and—weather permitting—a little sunshine too!

Our Senior School Sports Day will take place on Saturday 14th June at Farthingloe. Parents are warmly encouraged to join us for a lively morning of track and field events, and perhaps even to dust off their running shoes and take part in the much-enjoyed staff vs parents events!
