This is true. Any country’s pension fund or sovereign wealth fund should be invested MAINLY OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY ITSELF. Particularly a lower-population country such as Canada. Could we shift a chunk of investments from USA to say Europe? Eventually yes

Many are comparing this to Iraq 2003. The ginned-up WMD claims are similar. But Iraq was MUCH more justifiable--Saddam had a few years before used WMDs to murder 100,000 civilians only for their ethnicity, and there were no prospects for citizen overthrow. Neither the case here
