Congratulations to Dr. Satheesh Chonat for his #research published in Science Translational Medicine that identified an immune pathway that may serve as a key driver of acute chest syndrome for patients with sickle cell disease.

We have four new research projects headed by our hematologists and oncologists thanks to funding from Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl LegAcy Fund. These projects are aimed at targeting childhood cancers, including brain tumors, osteosarcoma and leukemia. Learn more: choa.org/about-us/newsr….
