As a GP I have 50 pt contacts/day. We’re pushed to our limits I also work in a heaving A&E where pts say they struggle to see a GP This isn’t 1ry vs 2ry care. This is demand outstripping capacity. This is the consequence of NHS underfunding/understaffing.

Massive pressures in ED mostly due to issues that = hospital inpatient bed capacity being overwhelmed. EDs then crowded with wards worth of patients. It is NOT GPs causing patients to need hospital beds.

This will have significant implications to healthcare secondary and primary care and availability of all public service staff.. get vaccinated / wear masks / social distance please 🙏
