Gr4/5 Westfield PS helped plant 150 trees at Memorial Park with Town of Tillsonburg! Ss worked hard to beautify their community, met the Mayor,had healthy snacks from Sobeys, and got their very own tree. We also have trees to plant for our own schoolyard!! Thames Valley DSB EcoSchools Canada

Day 3 of the December Math challenge in gr4/5 Westfield PS. Ss talked about how a snowflake is made up of different shapes and angles. They used any math tool to create their own. Working together and problem solving. tvdsbmath

Jr Ss Westfield PS were visited by the ghosts of Tweetmas past and present. Holiday math challenge class rotations ended the last week of school. 6 classrooms, 6 math challenges. Dreidels, pattern block snowflakes, dice, card & probability games, hole punch puzzles. ❄️ 🕎 🎄
