Where and when is agricultural land changing in the Mediterranean? We mapped agricultural land over 35 years in Greece using #Landsat and found a much larger gain in ag. land than loss/abandonment. Individual Tree Detection using airborne laser scanning is revolutionizing forest management. We cross-compared several ITD methods using a benchmark dataset in northern Idaho, USA. With M. Corrao and Prof Alistair Smith, in Remote Sensing MDPI Paper link: mdpi.com/2072-4292/14/1…

Myself, Elizabeth Warren, & Richard Blumenthal wrote to the President of University of Idaho urging them to reconsider the decision to acquire University of Phoenix, a predatory for-profit college with a history of preying on veterans, low-income students, and students of color.
