I tried a new style of coding yesterday. Instead of diving into the code, I wrote a product spec in Markdown and used Cursor to update the code until it matched the spec. The spec describes - guidelines - pages - components Is this the future of software engineering?

Been eating a pack of sardines a day for a week now. I get more things done and just feel much better overall. I feel like myself again. Happier, more mindful. Probably had a BIG Omega 3 and/or Vit D deficiency. Nothing much else really changed in the meantime either.

when i'm asking an LLM for suggestions on creative work, I always ask for a TON of possibilities. like: "give me 25 very different rewordings of this sentence", not "reword this sentence" even if none of the options are great, often there are good parts that can be combined
