In 2014 my daughter was in hospital with periorbital cellulitis caused by iGAS #StrepA. It was Boxing Day, it started off looking like conjunctivitis but she had a severe headache & temp. The abx didn’t work quickly enough, she had an op to drain the abscess - Awareness is 🔑

To #EndFGM you need to involve both men and women. Take the conversation to the community rather than sipping tea in a boardroom somewhere in Nairobi and making decisions on their behalf.
