It's #RememberACharityWeek, encouraging us all to consider including a gift to charity as part of our legacy, after taking care of family, friends and fellow Wombles of course! #PassOnSomethingWonderful bit.ly/326UaEd

It's #RememberACharityWeek highlighting the importance of gifts in wills for charities. After taking care of family & friends, even a small amount helps us to continue delivering our much-needed service of emotional support & practical help across #Surrey. buff.ly/3hb4dfQ

In the midst of the contradictions and perplexities we must confront each day, the din of so many words and opinions, there is the quiet voice of the Risen Lord who keeps saying to us: “Peace be with you!”

Today, I got to thank & hug the brave Police officer who saved my life. Despite witnessing me fall 50ft off a bridge, she ran down & held my hand until I was airlifted to hospital. This moment meant the world & reminded me just how grateful I am to be alive. #SuicidePrevention

Today is World Blood Donor Day. I sincerely thank the volunteers and I encourage them to continue their work, bearing witness to the values of generosity and gratuitousness.

How often we leave the Lord in a corner, at the bottom of the boat of life, to wake Him only in a moment of need! Let us ask for the grace of a faith that never tires of seeking the Lord, of knocking at the door of his heart. #GospelOfTheDay (Mk 4:35-41)

Today, in proximity to the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul, I ask you to pray for the Pope. Pray in a special way: the Pope needs your prayers!

I'm on a London bus. A stressed woman gets on with 3 small children, no/very little English & cash. Clearly from abroad. The driver tells her she can't pay with that and has to use a card. Immediately 2 women get up with their cards & pay her fare. Decent folk everywhere 😊

Dad, seven years ago today you passed on. The joy and inspiration you brought to the world carries on in your legacy and in your family, friends, and fans you so loved. You lived to bring laughter and to help others. I will be celebrating your memory today. Love you forever.

God does not come to free us from our ever-present daily problems, but to free us from the real problem, which is the lack of love. This is the main cause of our personal, social, international and environmental ills. Thinking only of ourselves: this is the father of all evils.

Just another ‘lazy GP’ ready to see West Wirral’s unwell, both face to face and remotely at 8am on a Saturday (& honoured to do so). Public, please get behind us, we went into medicine to help, i don’t know a GP who isn’t working late/starting early; feeling tired and demoralised

We often do the bare minimum, whereas Jesus invites us to do the maximum possible. How many times are we satisfied with doing our duties — the precepts, a few prayers — whereas God, who gives us life, asks us for enthusaism in life!

Let us care for our common home, and also for ourselves, trying to eliminate the seeds of conflict: greed, indifference, ignorance, fear, injustice, insecurity and violence. Humanity has never before had at its disposal so many means for achieving this goal #COP26 #EnvConflictDay
