We have up to 117 customers experiencing a full or partial outage in the area of S Champion, Oak, Fair and Linwood. Crews dispatched. Estimated time to restore 4 hours.

We have a substantial outage on the Westside of the city. A pole was hit, which tore down primary wires for DOP and AEP. Crews have been dispatched. ColumbusPublicUtilities

Severe storms are predicted in the Columbus, Ohio area tonight. The storms could be strong to severe. All hazards are possible with this system, including flooding, damaging winds, large hail, and the possibility of overnight tornadoes. Be prepared for power outages.

A pole was hit near 5th Ave and Hunter, resulting in a wide-spread power outage in the Short North area. Our crews have been working to set new pole and restore circuits. ETA 1pm today.

We have 515 customers out west of Nelson within a few blocks of long and spring. Crews still working.

The City of Columbus is experiencing a network issue that may be impacting services relying on the city’s internet. Critical functions, including 911 and 311, are still operational. We are working to restore additional services to support our residents.

We are experiencing a power outage near High St and Winthrop. An AEP pole was hit and will need to be replaced. This affected DOP equipment and customers. Once replaced, DOP will be able to transfer our equipment to the new pole and restore power to our customers.
