Drone music is a bit of a new concept to me but it certainly has me intrigued and Orme were very impressive at it

Said it beyond I'll say it again. Mastadon's music is just genius. Either on record or live I'm entranced every time. One of my top five metal bands of all time and they pulled me onto another plain of existence with their set. Wow.

There aren't many if any bands like Gojira. They are a force until themselves and immense, powerful and truly a work of art is the best way to describe them. And they priced it yet again. Stunning.

Well that's another bloodstockfest done. Good to be back after many years. Machine Head stole band of the weekend for me. Hopefully can go back next year!

Happily saw other wearing a Goblinsmoker t-shirt at Bloodstock this year as I wore mine on the Thursday. They're still number one of my must see bands live list. Maybe one day!
